Well, some of you have seen the Xwing and Tie Interceptor before, they're from Lightrom 2. I've added the Deathstar objects, and the little title thingy. I've also included 17 scene files, that make up a whole little (very basic) story. In a nutshell, a couple of Xwings blow up some Ties and the Deathstar. Please note: these scenes are basic shots that would then be edited properly later. They do follow chronologically, but if you just render them and splice them together, the pacing sucks. I''ve also included a short sequence of an explosion that I filmed on 16mm, and transfered to Digital Betacam via Flying Spot Scanner. Not as good as a direct film-digital transfer, but damn close. You're free to use this sequence for anything you choose, although I'd like some small donation if you use it in a commercial project. (Ooo, I should get rich from that!) (Not) The explosion is ORIGINAL (I created and filmed it) and is not lifted from somewhere else. I have the original 16mm stock to prove it, should anyone doubt that. I acknowledge totally that it is kind of a weak explosion, particularly for the Death Star (you'll see what I mean...) but I didn't want to release my other (better) ones just now. Also in the Scenes directory are a couple of other scenes, REDLASER.LWS and XwingLgt.lws, that are useful. REDLASER.LWS is just a bunch of lights in a straight line. You could do it yourself (if you have an Amiga) using the Lightswarm command (the PC version is currently [Mar 13/96] broken). Anyways, use it in good health. The XwingLgt.lws is designed to be used in Objects: Load from Scene. It will load the Xwing and the 4 lights for the Engines, with parenting etc. This was unfortunately a bit scrambled on LR2. If you want to render this thing, I've set most of the scenes to what I think are good settings (ambient light, motion blur, antialiasing etc.) but I might have missed something, or you might prefer different settings. Regardless, I hope you have fun. If anyone creates new scenes, I'd love to see them. Peter Bowmar Singapore bpj1@np.ac.sg As always, don't use it in commercial stuff, since LucasArts gets a bit tense about that. All ship designs (c) 1977-1996 LucasFilm. No copyright infringement intended, this was merely done for fun.
