   Dear TrapToss User,

Welcome to TrapToss 1.50, the latest release of The Real Amiga Packet
Tosser. We received a lot of reactions and suggestions during the last
months, most of which we incorporated into the program. There have been
a lot of enhancements, so reading both the "Changes" file and the manual
is recommended.

Talking about documentation: as an additional bonus TrapToss 1.50 now
is accompanied by an AmigaGuide version of the manual (in addition to the
traditional ASCII TrapToss.Man). Just type 'AmigaGuide TrapToss.Guide'
from your CLI ('MultiView TrapToss.Guide' if you are running AmigaOS 3.0
or higher) or double-click on the TrapToss.Guide icon from the Workbench
(you may have to change the 'Default Tool' to 'MultiView' first, if you
are running Workbench 3.0).

If you are upgrading from a previous release of TrapToss you might
have noticed that our standard TrapLand directory structure has changed
slightly:

   MAIL: -----+- Bin (executables)
   (config |- Docs (manuals, documentation)
    files) |- Scripts (shell scripts)
                |- Examples (example config files)
                |- Rexx (arexx scripts)
                |- Inbound (inbound mail and files)
                |- Outbound (outbound mail and files)
                |- Nodelist (nodelist, index and extra files)
                |- Matrix (netmail)
                |- Echo -+- TEST.area \
                         |- TRAPDOOR.area > (echomail areas)
                         |- [...] /

All TrapDoor/TrapToss/TrapScan/Trap#? distribution archives will follow
this directory structure. That way, you can always

	cd MAIL:
	lharc x TDxxx ; extract Trap#? software

and the files will automatically be extracted to the correct location.

When you configure your system you will find that most options and
configuration keywords default to reasonable values, so you can leave
many them out. As a rule of thumb you should keep in mind that more
commands make your config file less readable...

I'd like to welcome you to the latest generation of FidoNet software,
especially designed to suit your needs for fully four-dimensional Node and
Point setups.

That's about it. Have fun with an even more sophisticated version
of TrapToss and -- of course -- don't forget to read the manual!
