If you are using XScan, these should be Commented-out by inserting one or more spaces. List of sites which send packets with findlist echos If you have lots of free time, Set this to "*" to scan all packets eg SITELIST "*" NOT REQUIRED IF USING XSCAN SITELIST "FIDONET#1:167/223.0 AMIGANET#40:6/1.0 AMIGANET#40:6/0.0 FIDONET#1:167/104.0" FQscan Output list for FQueryP NOT REQUIRED IF USING XSCAN MSGLIST "LOG:FQlist" A space separated List in the form: domain zone do not include FidoNet or AmigaNet zones as these are built-in. NOT REQUIRED IF USING XSCAN FTNLIST "MTLNET 17 CJNET 100" Set this 1 if you have a method of scanning all netmail for message to FQuery (Such as XScan). If 0, FQscan will pass any netmail messages to FQuery that are found in packets from the sites listed in SITELIST. NONETSCAN 1 End of FQscan Configuration Global configuration items Booleans are 0 (FALSE) or 1 (TRUE). Your name SYSOP "Robert Williamson" FAKENET Some secure tossers will not import from an address which is the same as the host system. If your system does not use FakeNet's or you do not have a ZC registered Private Net, set FAKENET to the Point number of the address. eg: FAKENET 99 If you do use FakeNet and have a registered PrivateNet, place the private net in FAKENET also. eg: FAKENET "30730/99" MUST be quoted! Make sure you configure your tosser to accept mail from the fakenet address. FAKENET "30730/99" USE5D Set this to 0 if using tosser/mailer that can only handle 4D addressing. This is required for OUT packets used for NetMail responses. USE5D 1 EXCLUDE_LOCAL Set to 1 (TRUE) to exclude querys that have been marked as LOCAL by your tosser. This should not exclude querys from your points. EXCLUDE_LOCAL 1 fullpath of log file FQLOG "LOG:FQuery.log" Verbosity of Log file and progress window. Range is 0-9. LOGLEVEL 3 fullpathname of files list FLLIST "MAIL:filelists/01670104.lst" The start column of a file description in the FLLIST. This will also be used as the description wrap column in response messages. DESC_COL 40 The NUMBER of the word or column (starting from 1) in which the description appears. If the file entries in your filelist contains: filename size date description, DESC_NUM is 4. DESC_NUM 4 If not set to "", all mail created will be copied to this directory. The directory must exist. AUDITDIR "Mback:audit" Temorary work dir, must exist. TMPDIR "T:" ABOUT - The Response header The ABOUT file will be used in the response header and for response to a netmail %ABOUT command. Please use these guidelines when creating the ABOUT file. The most important info should be within the number of lines defined by MAXHEADER. Limit each line to no more than 74 characters and begin each line with at least 1 SPACE. ABOUT "CFG:ABOUT.TXT" If not set to "", this file will be sent in response to a NetMail %NEW or %NEWFILES FQuery command. NEWFILES "MAIL:FILELISTS/NEWFILES.LST" Extended help file The fullpathname of the file sent in response to netmail %HELP command. If set to "" or file does not exist, the internal short help will be sent. FQHELP "CFG:FQ.hlp" The device and size/position of FQuery window, must be terminated with a '/' WSPEC "KCON:0/10/640/100/" Window flags for FQuery window, must begin and end with a '/' WFLAGS "/INACTIVE/AUTO/" The public screen, set to "" if unused PSCREEN "The Roof Multi-FTN Server" Command to route and pack outbound netmail PACKER "run XPack" Command to queue a file in response to a netmail REQUEST command If set to "", the netmail request command is not processed. The FQFA address of the requesting site and requested filename is appended to this command. Command for Xferq Outbound Management Systems QUEUER "FQREQUEST XFQ RAM:FREQ.LST " Command for HLO Flo File Systems QUEUER "FQREQUEST HLO RAM:FREQ.LST " ****************** Echo Configuration ****************** n is the index number used to refer to all parameters of the echo. FQECHO.n This is the TAGNAME of an echo to SCAN for messages addressed to AllFix, FQuery or FileFind. FQPATH.n (not required of PKT version) The fullpath of the echo (FQECHO.n) to scan. FQREPLY.n Where the response messages will be posted. Set this to "", if replies are posted in the same echo as scanned. Designated Reply Echo If the echo to scan does not permit query reponses, enter the TAGNAME of the Designated Reply Echo in which the FQuery reply is to be posted instead of the scan echo. If the Designated Reply Echo is in another FTN, use the form: TAGNAME@FTN eg: FQREPLY.n FIND_AMY@AMIGANET When a Designated Reply Echo is set, the configuration of that Reply echo is used for all path, site and command values as well as all limits and exclusions, except for the following: - IGNORE_KEYS of the SCAN echo is appended to those of the REPLY echo. - SECOND_REPLY requests are not processed - SECOND_REPLY capability is not advertised (no address in From:) NetMail Reply Only If all replies are to be sent via NETMAIL ONLY, set this to NETMAIL. When set to NETMAIL, the MAXHEADER, MAXECHOMSG and MAXRESPONSE limitations are ignored. If all repsonse FQDIRS.n A string consisting of two items, the directories used by your tosser for Importing and your packer for Exporting. FQSITE.n A string consisting of two items, your address and sitename for this echo. These will appear in the ORIGIN line of the response message as well as being used in other parts of the response message. Enter your FTN Address in FQFA format: domain#zone:net/node.point The sitename should be limited to about 32 characters. Use the FQUERY SHOW command to see if the resulting ORIGIN line is too long. The sitename should contain your BBS name and telephone number. The telephone number must include area code. FQI.n The command to import mail packets. Must be a DOS command and should be RUN. If your command accepts the packetname, the '%pktname' variable will expand to the fullpathname of the packet. NOTE: Anything after %pktname will be deleted before command execution. FQX.n The command to run to pack and route outbound netmail packets. Must be a DOS command and should be RUN. If your command accepts the out file name, the '%outname' variable will expand to the fullpathname of the packet. NOTE: Anything after %outname will be deleted before command execution. RESPONSE LIMITS AND EXCLUSIONS The following define limitations placed upon the response messages in the echo. These limitations should be set so as to follow the rules of the particular echo in which the responses are placed. Note that the echo moderator can request a report of your configuration to determine if you are following the rules of the echo. If not specified or if set to "", the DEFAULT values will be used. SECONDREPLY.n DEFAULT 0 A boolean indicating if a Second Reply request should be processed. Second Reply was always active in previous versions. Note that a second reply request to a multi-part reply is always ignored. NETABOUT.n DEFAULT 0 A boolean indicating if a ABOUT file should be sent as a netmail message if the length exceeds permitted siteheader line length for the echo. NETRESPONSE.n DEFAULT 0 A boolean indicating if a response match list that exceeds the preset limits should be sent as multiple netmail messages instead of being discarded. MAXRESPONSE.n DEFAULT 61440 This is the maximum length in bytes of the match list for a query message. This cannot be set higher than 63K. Most echos limit this to very small values. MAXPKTLEN.n DEFAULT 15360 This is the maximum length of the portion of the match list that is posted in each message. Note that the echomail backbone does not guarantee delivery of messages greater than 16K. The default is set to 1K less to allows for message headers, site header and control fields. MAXECHOMSG.n DEFAULT 3 The maximum number of response messages that the echo permits in reply to a query. MAXHEADER.n DEFAULT 15 The maximum number of lines permitted for the system header (ABOUT) in the echo. MAXMSGAGE.n DEFAULT 0 (0=no age limit) This defines the age in DAYS, of a message that will be accepted for processing in the echo. QUERY LIMITS AND EXCLUSIONS The following define limitations placed upon what is acceptable in the contents of the subject field of a query request for the echo. If not specified or if set to "", the DEFAULT values will be used. MINDWORD.n DEFAULT 1 The minimum number of words required to process a string description. Anything less is ignored. MINSCHAR.n DEFAULT 3 The minimum number of characters required for processing in a SINGLE word string description. Anything less is ignored. MINFCHAR.n DEFAULT 3 The minimum number of characters required to process a filespec. Anything less is ignored. MINKCHAR.n DEFAULT 4 The minimum number of characters required to process a keyword. Anything less is ignored. IGNORE_KEYS.n DEFAULT: "AND THE VERY BEST AMIGA NOT DOS FOR IBM NOR FROM MAC COMPUTER" A string of keywords that are to be ignored. These are APPENDED to the DEFAULT. Words of less than MINKCHAR/MINSCHAR need not be listed.
