Description
============
Welcome to CrashMail, a full-featured mail-processor ("tosser") for the
Amiga. CrashMail has all the features you can expect in a good tosser
and is easy to configure with the comfortable settings editor CrashPrefs.
Many hours of work have been put into CrashMail to make it as powerful,
stable and easy to use as possible.

CrashMail can be used on a node as well as on a point system with high
demands and can use both UMS and *.msg messagebases.

CrashMail is a Shareware program.

This version
============
This version is distributed as a complete archive instead of a patch like
CrashMail 1.24 since I thought that a patch for a patch would be too
confusing.

Changes since 1.24:

 - When I started to replace odd characters with underscores when
creating paths for autoadded areas in a *.msg messagebase in
CrashMail1.24, I introduced a serious bug. All characters in the
path were replaced, so if the area should be called MAIl:Areas/TEST,
it would be called MAIL_Areas_TEST instead.

 - Fixed a bug in CrashPrefs that on rare occasions would lead to
Enforcer hits when choosing an aka for an area.

 - If you stop the rescanning of an area with Ctrl-C, CrashMail would
give you an incorrect number of messages rescanned in previous
   versions.

 - CrashMail could crash when it tried to rescan a *.msg area without
a directory and the directory couldn't be created by CrashMail.

 - CrashMail would crash when message numbers in a *.msg area exceeded
99999. Now CrashMail can handle this situation better, but you still
shouldn't have that high message numbers. The highwater marks stored
in 1.msg cannot be higher than 65535, so if your message numbers are
higher than that, CrashMail will stop using highwater marks which
will make scanning areas much slower. Other programs set the limit at
32767, so if you want to be fully compatible with all programs,
don't use higher message numbers than that.

 - The way you configure which group a node needs access to in order to
be able to forward-request areas in an arealist has been changed. The
old way that was based on the default group of the corresponding node
was a bit awkward. Now you can configure a group for each arealist
instead. This also has the advantage that you can have several
arealists with different groups for a node.

   *** IMPORTANT, PLEASE NOTE ***

When you install this version, all arealists will have no group set
which means that noone can use them for forward-requests. Before you
start using CrashMail 1.25, you must set a group for each node you
   want to use for forward-requests.

 - Now CrashMail adds a newline character before writing the Via line
when routing netmail if there wasn't one before.
