WHAT EXACTLY IS LICENCEWARE? ============================ Licenceware is NOT Public Domain. It is copyright the author and you must not copy or give it to anyone else as this is illegal and can lead to prosecution. If you copy and give away or sell Licenceware then you are breaking the copyright laws of this country. You are in-effect stealing from the author. Every time you buy an F1 Licenceware product the author of that product will receive a royalty, 25% of the retail price. Licenceware is a lot cheaper than it's commercial equivelent because it does not come in fancy boxes or with printed manuals. F1 are about to change all this though, see F1 GOLD. EVERY F1 DISK YOU BUY SHOULD HAVE THE OFFICIAL F1 BLUE AND WHITE LABEL ON IT, IF NOT, PLEASE REPORT THIS TO F1 IMMEADIATELY, STATING WHEN AND WHERE YOU BOUGHT IT, IN STRICTEST CONFIDENCE. P.S Some Amiga magazines are driving us crazy by calling Licenceware, P.D, it IS NOT, the mags are using the term P.D in a very generalised sense. So much so that beginners/newcomers to computing will/do find it very confusing. All of our products are exclusive to F1 and our distributers, you cannot legally buy it anywhere else. F1 hold the Worldwide exclusive rights to distribute each and every product we sign up and only F1 and our officially appointed distributers are allowed to sell them.
