The Experiment, complete Solution


Game Background:

The Experiment was written by John Clay, brother of Edmund Clay who wrote Grac, which was used to create this game. As you would expect from a 'Clay' game it is pretty tough to complete, so I have typed up this lot for you, enjoy.



Part 1:

* Take the rock
* Use rock on panel and exit
* Take mechanics credit card from his jacket
* Go to canteen
* Use credit card on controls to get '7-Down' drink, gum & chocolate.
* Operate the 7-Down, gum and chocolate. 
* Give choc wrapper to Cheal Chi, go outside.
* Use knife on barrell.
* Use gum on regulator, return to corridor.
* Give the fuel to mechanic.

Part 2:

* Take the bone.
* Use bone on rope tied around a bar.
* Use bone on rope
* Use hook on overhanging rock.
* Go over bridge and into forest to the camp.
* Enter the chiefs hut and talk to him.
* Exit and enter the 'spirit talker's' hut in the distance.
* Talk to 'spirit talker'.
* Find the huge modo tree and operate the hook.
* Use bone on soft area.
* Exit from left side of the screen and bake some flowers on the next
  screen.
* Use rope on branch over the hole.
* Use flowers on the hole.
* Go off the left side and take branch from ground.
* Return to camp. Take bowl, found in one of the small huts.
* Find the screen with the strange Quoan tree and use the branch to knock
  down some fruit.
* Exit off the right side.
* Use the runes on the pond and choose the middle word.
* Use the bowl on the pond.
* Quickly return to Spirit Talkers hut and give him all the items.

Part 3:

* There are traps in the forest which show up as 'ground'; but saving is
  a good idea here. 
* Find the axe (in a log) and take it.
* Find the blocked up exit
* Use axe on it.
* Walk up path and operate door.
* Walk around in the room until you are teleported- there is an obscure 
  teleporter ad on the floor.
* Walk to the right and enter the building.

Part 4:

* Exit the cabin and enter the next one (3rd door from left)
* Operate the drawer.
* Take charge pack and gun.
* Exit
* Enter the lift (far left door)
* Go to cargo.
* Use axe on crate.
* Take lock breaker.
* Use charge pack on lock breaker.
* Return to engineeering.
* Enter 2nd floor, from right.
* Use lock breaker on drawer.
* Take book and screwdriver.
* Go to science.
* Enter door behind the desk.
* Take box on shelf.
* Use lock breaker on box.
* Go to comnand and use the hand on the palm reader.
* Go through right door.
* Without going forwards, use screwdriver on panel.
* Examine book.
* Operate panel.
* Go through far right door and watch ending sequence.
