                Installer Update for AmiTCP4_DIS96
                ----------------------------------

This archive contains a replacement install script for the Demon
AmiTCP4_DIS96.lha setup, which amends a few configuration settings
that have changed since the original archive was made available.
It also fixes a few bugs in the previous install script update.

To use the replacement installer, first unarchive AmiTCP4_DIS96.lha
into the directory in which you want it installed, and copy or drag
the new Install_Demon file over the original. The file NNTPTransfer
should also be copied over the original file in the "bin" directory
BEFORE running the installer. This will ensure that the correct
protection bits are set on the file.

N.B. AmiTCP4_DIS96 must be installed in place.

Alterations/amendments 11/11/96

 - fixed conflict between myname and my-name variables in
   original installer script
 - updated newsserver and several other minor config changes
 - amended Link script to work with altered output from
   finger mynode@post
 - changes to db/inetd.conf and new ARexx fingerd 'rx.fingerd' to
   overcome security loophole in in.fingerd
 - fixed major bug in previous version - I forgot to uncomment
   copyfiles and fixbits procedures after testing and before
   uploading :( <blush>
 - changes to Startnet script:
   - routing fixed
   - Env:Sana2 created if it does not exist
   - now uses ppp.device's builtin dialer
