            Rev.2 released 2. Sep. 1996 by Flemming Steffensen.

Interduction
============

   This is to my knowledge the first Thai-keymaps for the Amiga.
   I've used alot of time makeing this, especialy getting the info
   about the thai-layout proved _very_ difficult.
   The layouts I've made are a mixture of the ones I've seen used on
   mac's, PC's and X-windows.

   For info about each keymaps layout, check the pictures in the
   pics directory.

   Please mail me, if you find any errors, or just want to comment
   on my work.
   (Adresses can be found at the end of this text.)

Fonts
=====

   To realy use this set of keymaps, you should try to get hold on
   my thai-fontset. It can be found at text/font and is called
   Thai-font.lha

Included
========

   Included in this pack are the following four keymaps:

      THAI-QWERTY Normal use are Thai, ALT'ed use are QWERTY.
      THAI-DVORAK Normal use are Thai, ALT'ed use are DVORAK.
      QWERTY-THAI Normal use are QWERTY, ALT'ed use are THAI.
      DVORAK-THAI Normal use are DVORAK, ALT'ed use are THAI.

BUGS
====

   The following bugs are probably pressent:

      *  Missing control-keys/codes.

      *  CapsLock don't work corectly.

            This is due to limitations in the keymap file format!
            The keymaps who normal uses QWERTY or DVORAK will use the
            normal CapsLock scheam, BUT this ALSO will affect the thai
            part of the keymap.
            The keymaps that normal uses THAI, all CapsLock features
            are disabled, since I have no info on it's normal behaiviour.

      * Perhaps some of the Thai-charecters are located on the wrong
         keys. I realy tried my best, and when I asked some people to
         check it, they didn't report back to me.

      * There are NO dead keys, to add umlauts to (latin) chars.

            This is becource the thai keymap is made after the TIS-620
            standard, that only leaves 128 chars for the latin charecters,
            and thus demands another 128 for the thai-charecters.

Control-codes:
==============

   All of the keymaps supports the following control-sequences:

     ^a, ^A,  ^b, ^B,  ^c, ^C,  ^d, ^D,  ^e, ^E,  ^f, ^F,  ^h, ^H,

     ^j, ^J,  ^k, ^K,  ^m, ^M,  ^q, ^Q,  ^r, ^R,  ^s, ^S,  ^u, ^U,

     ^w, ^W,  ^x, ^X,  ^y, ^Y,  ^z, ^Z,  ^\, ^|.

   This is all the control-sequences that the CLI and Shell uses,
   if others are needed, then please tell me.
