README.txt ---------- Gustavo Vieira Hi, there. My name is Gustavo Vieira, i`m 21 years-old and i live in Portugal. Here are some of my animations. These animations were made on a CD³²/SX1 with 2 Mb Ram. The names of the animations are "B", "16000000" and "Crash1&2". They all were made by the same way. The drawing, painting and animation were made on DPaint 4, the sound effects were made on Octamed 4 or 5 and then joined using Blitz Basic 2. The entire stuff was made by me, except the programming on Blitz Basic to make the animation and sound effects run together that was made by my brother Paulo Vieira (thanks, bro!). Since the files are executable, to run the animations, you only have to type their names mentioned above on WB`s Execute Command or on Cli. To see the "16000000" and "Crash1&2" animations, the explode.library is needed, because the executable files were compressed using Implode. Now i will tell you about all the animations. "16000000" ---------- The real name of the animation is 16000000 A.C. (B.C. in english). As the name says, the story goes million years ago, in the pre- -historic age. It`s a small gag. I specially like the expression on their faces when they get hit. This animation was made around 1993. The voices are my voices sampled with a Master Sound sampler. "Crash1&2" ---------- This is a 2 in 1. It`s one file but it has 2 animations so, when the first animation ends (Crash1), wait a moment to see the next animation (Crash2). I got the idea of the stories on my jokes-made-during-school-class papers. When i was in school, during boring lessons, i used to do jokes in comics. These are 2 of them. The animations were made around 1995. "B" --- The name is B (bee) and it`s about a guy running from the angry bees. This animation has a Monty Phyton animation style. That`s the intention. The first time i saw Monty Phyton`s Flying Circus on TV, was years ago. For some time i was looking forward to see it again. When the TV decided to re-run the episodes, i was thrilled. When i saw the animations i thought: "I gotta do that stuff on computer". The way Terry Gillian moved the puppets, the very-stupid-nonsense- -hillarious stories was fabulous. So i picked some photos and drawings and made it. The sounds, backgrounds and colouring were made by me, except some of the photos and drawings of some characters that i used from Weird Science`s Multimedia Toolkit released as a coverCD for Amiga Computing. This animation was made in Summer/1996. Hope you like the animations. See you soon. My address is: GUSTAVO VIEIRA Quinta da Vinha Grande, Travessa das Gardénias, nº 11, 2840 Amora Portugal
