  Release version 1.2

  - a complete rewrite of the code.
  - several bug fixes; one of them causing the program
    to still mess up the count_file and reset some of the 
    counters. Now the problem is really fixed.
  - new arguments can be given to the program:
     # increase=number
     # show=NO
     # debug=ON
    Check the README and/or FAQ for usage of these arguments.

  Release version 1.1.

  Mainly a bug fix:
  - conditional #define RAND_MAX added
  - #include <fcntl.h> added
  - in function 'link_search' free-statements corrected.
  - if version 1.0 of the counter program was used very heavily,
    occasionally two occurences of the program were updating the 
    count_file at the same time resulting in strange behaviour.
    This should be fixed now by making sure that the program is
    not interrupted during the updating.
