Replaces: WebPlugv11.lha
WebPlug is a MUI-based HTML editor for the Amiga.
Features:
-Nice MUI interface for every option of the program.
-Built-in editor, using the Textfield.gadget.
-Can send the current document to any browser (AWeb, IBrowse
AMosaic, Multiview and Voyager -little support- are currently
supported). Supporting a new browser is just a matter of creating
a new external library for it.
-Supports most important HTML tags, including some HTML 3.0 and
NetscapeŽ tags, such as , , tables...
The user (you :) can define any number of new tags.
-Features automatic generation of some entities, such as tables.
Just tell WebPlug that you want a 3x3 table and it will insert
it in the editor.
-Can display images using Datatypes (OS 3.0+ only) or any external
image viewer.
-Localized. English is built-in.
New/Changes in v1.2:
-WebPlug is now Kick v37+ (Workbench 2.1+).
-Removed the 'Cannot open font' bug.
-Text insertion sped up for most operations.
-Added support for Drag'n'Drop.
-New CustomTags List. The user can define any number of tags and
use them as if they were built-in in WebPlug. Of course, the list
can be loaded/saved/changed, and supports Drag'n'Drop.
Supplied with WebPlug you'll find a CustomTag List to create AmigaGuides.
-New CustomString List. This list can contain any string. These strings
can be dropped into any string-gadget of the program, or directly into
the textfield.
Supplied with WebPlug, you'll find a CustomString List with some usefull
strings.
-WebPlug's main window is an AppWindow. Simply drop icons to load HTML files
on it.
-New BrowserLinks for Voyager (*very* limited) and for Multiview.
-New (simple) Search function.
-You can specify the arguments to the browser when running it.
-A few new HTML tags.
-Some other minor (or not so minor :) changes.
Requires:
-AmigaDOS v2.1+ (anyway, v3.0+ is _strongly_ recommended).
-MUI v3.2+.
-Textfield.gadget v3.1+ (included in this distribution archive).
-On AmigaDOS v3.0+ is recommended to have GIF and JPEG datatypes, as
WebPlug uses them to know image sizes.
I'm very sorry for the delay... Thanks.
WebPlug is released as Shareware. The fee is _only_ $10, so please consider
registering it if you use it.
