*Replacement Transfer Animation for IBROWSE*

Bored with the spinning globe transfer anim
in IBROWSE ?

Fed up with it slowing down the loading of
the pictures ?

Annoyed that it does'nt look good in less
than a 256 colour screen ?

Dont like any of the alternative animations
on offer ?

TRY THIS....

COGS is designed to (hopefully :)) address
the above problems. Take a look at the anim
(project icon for ppshow inc) to see preview
of the replacement Transfer animation(s).

INSTALLATION...

No installation as such, just copy one of the
anims (gold/silver/red/green) to the images
directory of IBROWSE and rename it to:

def_TransferAnimation

Don't forget to use the supplied icon (or if
you prefer, just change the FRAMES tooltype
to reflect the fact that there are 35 frames
and the frames are 48x48 pixels in size!)

ABOUT...

The images where modelled and rendered using
IMAGINE (320x256x12bit) and then batch scaled
rendered and saved to anim.The anim was then
loaded into DPAINT and using the animbrush
tool, stamped 35 frames next to each other in
one long line. This picture was then imported
back into ADPRO to be cropped to 1680x48x4bit
and saved out in IFF format.

Four different palettes where created to suit
personal taste: red, green, silver and gold.

NOTE:

The silver anim tends to look better when using
fewer cols (ie 64) due to a higher number of
grey shades being available.

Also, the tranferanimations are 35 frames long
to reduce frame skip in IBROWSE. The preview is
only 12 frames to reduce size ;)
