If you'd like a better feel for the power of The Digital Universe before purchasing it, you'll be happy to know that a demo version is available. Naturally, there are several restrictions to this demo software, making it impractical for everyday use, but it should serve as a good indicator to the potential and functionality of a registered version. Note that even this demo version is relatively huge, its archive being 3.3 megabytes in size. Ensure that you have selected "Load to Local Disk" with your Web browser before attempting the download. The demo version may be downloaded by clicking on the filename: Dig_Universe.lha. If you do not already have MUI 2.3 (or later) installed, you will also need to obtain mui36usr.lha.
