This is my attempt at resource tracking, version 0.4 beta.
The package consists of three programs:
- "rt" patches the OS to keep track of various resources. What
  distinguishes rt from other programs of the sort is the fact
  that a change in the config file is all that is needed to track
  a new type of resource.
- "rtFreeResources" selectively gives orphan resources back to the
  system.
- "rtList" displays various summaries of rt's tracking lists

V0.4 beta is the third release. The (few) bugs of previous versions
should be fixed by now but due to some new features there's of course
the possibility of new ones :-)
Up to now it hasn't caused me any crashes though, neither have I
found any enforcer hits caused by rt. Nevertheless I refuse all
responsibility for anything that happens to your
computer/brain/mother-in-law/whatever as a result from using this
software. It works fine on my system - if it doesn't on yours, just
send me a bugreport and I'll consider fixing it :-)
