Blitz Basic 2.1 (Amiga Format Demo)

Floppy Disk Users
-----------------

Boot from this disk!

This disk has been configured to work with any 1Mb amiga from an A500 to
an A4000. Users with more memory, hard disk drives and WB2.1 or greater
can take advantage of the additional utilities on the extras disk in the
full release version.



Hard Disk Users
---------------

1) Make a new directory on your Hard Drive.

2) Copy	the following files from this disk into your new directory.	

         Acidlibs
         Blitz2
         Blitz2.info
         Deflibs
         Defaultdbug	
         Help
         Help.dat
         Ted
         Ted.info

3) Add the following to your startup-sequence or type it into a shell
   before running Blitz.

         Assign BLITZ2: <your hd>:<your new directory>	 

4) If you want to try out the new editor, just replace the Ted file in
   your new directory with the Ted file on the examples disk.

   NB: Please note that the new editor is only compatible with WB2.1 or
       greater Amigas.   



About this demo
---------------

You cannot create stand alone executables with this demo and a lot of
the new Blitz features are on the extras disk (release version only).

The extras disk (release version) contains:

* BigDeflibs.lha  - all the amigalibs and third party libraries' object
                    code compiled into one file.

* Blitzlibs.lha   - all the object code for amigalibs and the third party
                    libraries and the resident files and utilities.

* LibsDev.lha     - an archive for advanced users wanting to create their
                    own libraries. It contains documentation, example
                    library source code and test examples for the third
                    party libraries.

* NewDebugger.lha - an advanced debugging utility that allows you to
                    view copper lists, memory, etc.

* NewTeditor.lha  - an Amiga style-guide compliant editor that requires
                    WB2.1 or greater.
