Working With Words
Final Writer

1 Document titles are included in an outline on request, but the program defaults to Outline if none is specified. Notice that the use of Final Writer's style tags can make all the difference to the presentation of a document.

2 Topic names are printed and numbered without extra indentation so that they read down the page in a logical fashion. Too many indents would mean the final layer of a sub-topic being left with only a couple of inches of print room.

3 Indents are fully configurable, but the default has been calculated to give a good general effect, and it works well. This makes it an even quicker job to set up outlines.

4 Sub-topics are either given a lower case letter or a standard numeral. Roman numerals, for paragraph numbering in many types of document, are not supported.
