Shredder - Requires round about 2Mb to run. - Originally rendered in 24bit. - This is a demonstation of the new shredder F/X that comes with Imagine 3.2. This animation was put together over a period of round about 15 minutes and it turned out quite well. It also demostrates how effective the states function can be and a bit of lens flare (not as good as Lightwave). - It shows a small fighter being chased by a borg ship and then destroyed. - The only problem that I have been able to find with it is that when the small ship explodes, there is a black hole running through the center of the explosion. This is due to the imagine render engine that leaves normal space where to fog objects intersect. The other fog object is a laser beam from the borg ship that didn't show up to well (if you look very closely you might be able to see it). - Special thanks to Gorden Peterson who built the borg ship. - I built the fighter. It is also included in another animation that needs about 8Mb to run the grey scale version. The full colour version is roughly 30Mb and both are avalible. It is 600 frames long. A frame from the animation is included in this archive. - Gary Poore 3 Little Warton Rd, Warton, Tamworth, Staffs. B79 0HR - This is mine and nobody else's.
