Here's a problem I have:

There is a light source wich I want to run across a logo to give it a
gleam effect (I know this could be done with brushmaps..I'll try that
next). Anyway here's the problem...Frame 1 is where the light is rotated
90 degrees to the left so it doesn't shine on the logo. The last frame I
rotated it 180 degrees to the right, again not shining on the logo. I was
hoping for Imagine to make the in-between frames have the light shine on
the logo..Nope! Frame 1 the light is 90 degrees to the left and the last
frame the light is 90 degrees to the right...when following the animation
frame by frame the light stays to the left until the last frame. I had
set alignment bars and nothing changed...When I ran a null axis behind
the logo it tracked fine, but I guess you can't tween alignment of
lights..

I haven't tried this but....

just use the rotate fx on the light source...?

(I sent this once, but never saw it show up. Here I go again.)

     I'm wondering:

     In the action editor, does the alignment bar look like this:

     frame#   1     5     10      15      20     25   etc.
     _______________________________________________
     light
     align.   ************************************X

        OR this:

     frame#   1     5     10      15      20     25   etc.
     _______________________________________________
     light
     align.   *XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

...where *** is the first alignment (90 degrees left) and XXX is the
last alignment (90 degrees right). The second figure is the correct one for
morphing between frames 1 and 25. Just thought I'd make sure that this wasn't
the problem.

Of course, YES...PLAN B is to make an in-between frame with the camera facing 0
degrees, to give Imagine a clue as to which way it should turn around.

     frame#   1     5     10      15      20     25   etc.
     _______________________________________________
     light
     align.   *XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

*= 90 degrees left (aka 270 degrees)
X= 0 degrees
Y= 90 degrees right (aka 90 degrees)
