Subject:      [IML] AMIGA:  Difference between Ingvars Frac Noise and Essence?

Hello All:

While I own IFW 1.3.4, I do most of my 'Imagining' at home on my
Amiga using IFA 5.0.  I have both the Essence packages as well.
As I recall, Essence has a Fractal Noise texture (Essence I,
I believe).

A question for those of you who have IFA 5.0, Essence, IFW, and
Ingvar's textures...

What is the difference in capabilities between the Essence Fractal
Noise texture and Ingvar's Fractal Noise texture?  Can the former
be used to create the discoloration seen in the recent image
discussed here called "scape.jpg"?

Since this image used a ripples texture from Ingvar as well, can anyone
tell me about its features and how it differs from those in
Imagine (e.g. using the Disturbed texture 2-3 times on an object) or
the Essence wave textures?
