Imagine is definitely more "bang for the buck", I can't and won't argue with that. Guess I was getting impatient and wanted more more more..... As far as converters, anyone try 3dwin? It imports a heck of a lot of file formats (Imagine included) and exports into a lot too. When exporting into IFW format (say a hat) it will make the appropriate edges hard edges/quick edges. So you son't get a totally phong shaded hat and the quick edges are better than a bounding box sometimes. Plus it has plugin support so if a company changes it's object file format the programmer can update 3dwin with a simply plugin instead of a program rewrite. Here's the url: http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/thbaier . Might want to email the owner of this prog. because if I didn't have the older version I wouldn't know his address. It's nowhere to be found in the new help files. Dom
