ENGLISH:

This is release 1.2 of VisualPrefs, a patch to modify the look of the Amiga
GUI. I hope there are no serious bugs. However, please don't judge it too
severely. :)

If you find a bug, report it to [tanti@intercom.it] and be sure that I'll
do my best to fix it. But please, also read the documentation first. ;-)


Changes from the previous Aminet release (1.0a)
-----------------------------------------------

· The patch for the ClassAct iconify gadget didn't work with the latest
  release of ClassAct. Now this is fixed.

· Now VisualPrefs patches DirOpus 5.5+ titlebar gadgets. Only tried it with
  Magellan, but it should work also with previous releases. Hope you like the
  new "padlock" image...

· Now you can choose to install a 68020/030 or 68040/060 version of
  VisualPrefs and GUI.

· Some optimizations to the code of certain patches.

· No more crashes with MUI "screen close" gadgets.

· The screen titlebar doesn't get corrupted anymore under CyberGraphX 3
  with the SUPERLAYERS option on.

· The GUI editor now correctly fills the bottom scroller's hole in the
  preview area if you select the "Fill recessed areas..." option.

· Now the GUI editor allows for fonts with an height smaller than 7 pixels;
  the new limit is 5 pixels.

· GadTools arrow gadgets didn't get patched if their width or height was
  smaller than 10 pixels; now the limit is 9 pixels.

· The image of CheckBox gadgets sometimes did overwrite part of the border.

· Added a workaround in the GUI editor for a bug in the V39 gadtools.library
  concerning the displaying of the contents of number gadgets. Hope it works!

· The "Global" menu is now correctly updated when you select "Last saved"
  from the "Edit" menu.

· The rendering of MUI titlebar gadgets should now be somewhat faster.

· Added a patch for MagicMenu 2.19+ allowing to vertically center the
  menu titles in the screen bar.

· Added the possibility to inhibit the use of the Template.

· Added public "tbiclass" image class for use by programs such as ViNCEd
  (starting with ViNCEd 3.53; previously it was called "iconifyimageclass").

Questa è la release 1.2 di VisualPrefs, un patch per modificare l'aspetto
della GUI di Amiga. Spero che non ci sia alcun bug serio. Tuttavia, per
favore, non giudicatelo troppo severamente. :)

Se trovate un bug, riferitelo a [tanti@intercom.it] e state certi che farò
del mio meglio per correggerlo. Ma per favore, prima leggete anche la
documentazione. ;-)


Cambiamenti dalla release su Aminet precedente (1.0a)

· Il patch per il gadget "iconify" di ClassAct non funzionava con l'ultima
  release di ClassAct. Ora è stato corretto.

· Ora VisualPrefs modifica i gadget aggiunti alla titlebar da DirOpus 5.5+.
  L'ho provato solo con Magellan, ma dovrebbe funzionare anche con le release
  precedenti. Spero che vi piaccia la nuova immagine "padlock"...

· Ora si può scegliere di installare una versione di VisualPrefs e GUI
  compilata per 68020/030 oppure 68040/060.

· Alcune ottimizzazioni al codice di certi patch.

· Niente più crash con i gadget "screen close" di MUI.

· La titlebar degli schermi non viene più corrotta sotto CyberGraphX 3 con
  l'opzione SUPERLAYERS attivata.

· L'editor GUI ora riempie correttamente il buco dello scroller orizzontale
  nell'area di preview se si seleziona "Riempire aree rientranti...".

· Ora l'editor GUI permette di usare font con un'altezza inferiore a 7 pixel;
  il nuovo limite è 5 pixel.

· I gadget freccia di GadTools non venivano modificati se la loro larghezza
  o altezza era inferiore a 10 pixel; ora il limite è 9 pixel.

· L'immagine dei gadget CheckBox a volte copriva parte del bordo.

· Aggiunto un "workaround" nell'editor GUI per un bug nella gadtools.library
  V39 che riguarda la visualizzazione del contenuto dei gadget numerici.
  Spero che funzioni!

· Il menu "Globale" ora viene aggiornato correttamente quando si seleziona
  "Ultimi valori salvati" dal menu "Editor".

· Il rendering dei gadget MUI nella titlebar ora dovrebbe essere un po' più
  veloce.

· Aggiunto un patch per MagicMenu 2.19+ che permette di centrare verticalmente
  i titoli dei menu nella barra dello schermo.

· Aggiunta la possibilità di inibire l'uso del template.

· Aggiunta la classe pubblica "tbiclass" che può essere utilizzata da
  programmi come ViNCEd (a partire da ViNCEd 3.53; prima si chiamava
  "iconifyimageclass").
