ˇ  General Information

Henry has had a major setback caused  by  a  deadly  harddisk  malfunction.  The
backups  were  3  months  old  and  reimplementing features has taken some time.
However, this is the most bug-free version of Henry to date,  and  this  version
has everything that the first public beta had and lots more.

ˇ  Problems

If you have any problems running Henry Michaels, please mail me on  one  of  the
following addresses:

Please mail me instead of talking to me on IRC etc., as I tend to forget  stuff.
To  mail  a  bug report or anything to do with the bot, put "Henry" somewhere in
the subject.

ˇ  Henry on the WWW

Go to http://fido.euroline.no/Henry/ to find the official (public) Henry
page. This page is VERY under construction, nothing sensible is on there at
the moment.

ˇ  Installation

The supplied installation script just copies everything to some dir. It is  safe
to use and everything.

ˇ  Running

First you have to configure it. At the moment, this is done by copying the  four
files  General,  Commands,  Levels  and  Users  from the /Henry/Config/Examples/
directory to /Henry/Config/. Please also take a look at the files  with  a  text
editor and edit anything to suit your needs. When you are done, start Henry from
a shell. You can also start it from the Workbench, but I doubt  I  have  a  nice
icon  for it yet. :) Oh, and remember to have a TCP/IP-stack running if you want
Henry to be able to do anything. Miami and AmiTCP are good alternatives.

** Observe: Be careful when you edit the different configuration files,  and  do
not  change  anything  unless  you  are absolutely positive you know what you're
doing.

ˇ  Legal stuff

Using Henry means you accept to not  hold  me  responsible  for  any  damage  or
anything  else  resulting  from its use. If you can not accept this, you are not
allowed to run Henry. I'm sorry, but thanks to Microsoft and their  likes,  this
is what the world has turned into.

Distribution of this beta version is limited to the Henry home page and  Aminet.
Appearance  of this Henry archive, in part or whole, on any Microsoft controlled
media (except the internet) is higly illegal and means they  accept  a  fine  of
150000 norwegian kroner, to be paid to me (Rune Jacobsen). Report violations and
pay notifications to shitlips@fido.euroline.no
