A Special OfferThe WebLord Advocate NetworkHuh? :-) Here's the deal: If you are a licensed (registered) user of WebLord and five (5) of your friends mention your full name at the time they purchase a copy of WebLord through me, then you get an Advocate's Bonus of $20(US) mailed directly from me to you!
Why? How? What's the catch? Why: Because I want to spread the word about WebLord, and nothing works better than the word of satisfied customers. Hopefully that's you. How: If you like the software, purchase it. If five (5) of your friends see your enthusiasm and also purchase the software (and they mention your full name at the time of purchase) then you get an Advocate's Bonus of $20(US) for your good words. If another five (5) people purchase WebLord, you'll get another $20(US) mailed to you. There is no time-frame within which these purchases have to occur: all in one day or spread over two years; whatever!
No catch: You only need to be a registered user of WebLord. You are acting, in a way, as a free-roaming advertising agent for WebLord. You help me spread the word about the software, perhaps show your friends what WebLord has done for you, demonstrate it at your users group, talk about it on your local BBS, whatever you think is in good taste, doesn't annoy people, but gets people interested. For every five (5) people who purchase WebLord, you'll get $20(US) mailed to you. Does that mean I can actually make a profit this way?! If you're an active advocate and you get ten people to purchase WebLord then your bonus amounts to $40(US), which exceeds your own purchase price by $15(US). So yes, you can make some extra money this way. And if you convince 100 people to buy WebLord, you'll get $400(US) from me. And if 1000 people... What am I required to do? You are not required to do anything at all. It's a purely voluntary effort on your part, with the promise that the business you bring me by passing the word about WebLord is rewarded. This is my way of saying "thanks for your help"; it's my way of giving back some of the profit to you, the loyal users. What if I have no friends? Again, you're not required to do anything. You have purchased the software, and thus have the use of it, have the guarantee of the software upgrade policy, and you get support by electronic mail through me. Advocating WebLord is a purely additional effort that you can undertake if you like or ignore if you don't have the time or the friends to talk to. Is this network marketing? No. I merely keep track of how many people have mentioned your full name as they purchase WebLord, thereby indicating that you were involved in their decision to purchase WebLord and support me as a software developer. There is nothing else to it. What's a good way to get started? Talk to your friends! Spread the word. The only thing I ask--and that's because I don't want to get any emails from people saying "what sort of lunacy have you loosed upon the world?"--is that you don't descend upon your friends like a starved vulture, that you don't flood every BBS in the world with maniacal rants about WebLord. Keep it civilized, keep it decent. Mention the program where you can, but don't make a nuissance of yourself doing it, yes? :-) What if I buy 5 additional copies of WebLord, can I mention my own name and get a bonus? Sure you can, but you may want to email me and ask for a bulk discount instead. :-) Official Rules for the WebLord Advocate NetworkTo receive an Advocate Bonus of $20(US):
