The Site Construction Power Tool

The Copyright-Notice Reference

Most page editing tools insert a "generated with..." reference into the HTML meta tags. WebLord wants to do this, too.

WebLord, however, is not strictly tied to HTML¹, and as a result cannot make assumptions about where in the output stream to insert this information. It needs you to tell it the appropriate place.

The reference that WebLord generates and inserts into the output (at the place where you reference copyright-notice) will be an HTML comment. It will be invisible to viewers of the page, but provide a reference if so desired.

WebLord will refuse to output a page if you fail to include this object. By including the supplied file global.wl you ensure that the copyright-notice is automatically included in an appropriate place.

¹ The HTML comment is currently an HTML construct, which somewhat reduces the language independence at this time. A solution will be made available in a future release.
