Future Plans
We have many more plans for BarNone. What's here now is just the beginning. Here are just a few of them.
More Object Classes We have plans for many more interesting and useful object classes for use in BarNone. If you have ideas, please let us know! We won't list all of the future classes here, but look for more types of monitor classes, calendars, calculators, and many more.
Hotkey control Many object classes (such as Window class and others) will be controllable by standard AmigaOS event specifications, so they can be used with hotkeys.
External Control of Objects Eventually, all objects will be controllable via an external ARexx interface. This will let objects easily control other objects, and permit entire custom user interfaces for other programs to be created in BarNone.
Message Catalogs Every object in BarNone can be localized. Eventually, we plan to have non-English message catalogs for all of the program's classes.
Sound Support Objects that support sound.
Programmer's Toolkit A toolkit and specifications for 3rd parties to create new classes for integration into BarNone will be available.
Network Support We have planned many features to support networked systems.
