 Welcome to ViewMem.doc!



   Introduction:
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

 ViewMem is a small program, which can replace command avail (© Amiga Inc.).
 ViewMem v2.52 shows memory in a requester (reqtools.library © Nico François).
 Firs window (requester) shows memory. When you close this one, it will open
 next, which shows some informations about the program and author.

 ViewMem can start from CLI/Shell or from Workbench (example icon included).
 Program needs version 38+ of reqtools.library (© Nico François).
 ViewMem will work with all systems (from 1.3 to 3.1).

 You can distribute and copy this program free as long as all archive will be
 unmodified and doc file will contain my name and address.

 If you want to include ViewMem into any PD, shareware or commercial packets,
 you need not my special permissions. Let me only to know library/pack name.




   History:

 Version 1.0 - 2.4 (3.96 - 4.96) - All source codes and programs are lost.
                                   These versions worked only on CLI/Shell.
                                   Neither menu nor requester were opened.
                                   Not public releases.

 Version 2.5   (12.4.96) - Program opens menu and uses requester.
                           Polish language version only.
                           It has not been released for public use.

 Version 2.51  (??.5.97) - Program opens menu and uses requester.
                           English language version only. It isn't new version.
                           I have simply recreated ViewMem 2.5 and this release
                           is the effect of my work.
                           It has not been released for public use.

 Version 2.51a (20.5.97) - English release. Uses reqtools requesters.
                           Requesters follows mouse-pointer. It is irritating!
                           It has not been released for public use.

 Version 2.52  (29.5.97) - English release. Uses reqtools requesters.
                           Requesters open always in the centre of screen.
