@NODE WhatItIs "CxBar/What is this program for?"
@{LINDENT 3}
This program controls all commodities in your system.
It is an alternative for the normal Exchange and uses
@{" MagicUserInterface " link MUI} by Stefan Stuntz.

The difference between C='s (or AT's) Exchange and @{b}CxBar@{ub} is that @{b}CxBar@{ub}
displays the commodities as buttons (cycles) in a horizontical, one-
line-high (bar) virtual group at the bottom of a screen. Every button
has a help-bubble which shows the title and the description of the
commodity and informs you if it has a window which can be shown and
hidden ("GUI: YES" or "GUI: NO").

The help-bubble of @{b}CxBar@{ub} looks like this:
       ________________________________________
      /                                        \\
     | CxBar v37.8 (20.07.96) by Thomas Igracki |
     | A new Exchange clone.                    |
     |                                          |
     |                GUI: YES                  |
      \\___  ___________________________________/
          \\ \\
           \\ \\
            \\/

If you click on a button (left mouse) a popupmenu will be shown where
you can select one of the following commands/actions:

    ----------
   |  Remove  |  -> remove/kill the commodity (w/o requester!)
   |  Toggle  |  -> activate/deactivate the commodity
   |   Hide   |  -> hide the commodity/window
   |   Show   |  -> show/popup the commodity/window
   | Exchange | -> the name of the commodity, no function
    ----------

If a commodity didn't has a window/GUI to popup/hide the entries @{b}Hide@{ub}
and @{b}Show@{ub} won't be there!

If a commodity is inactive the name will be shown in italic style.

Hint:
  If you have a three-button-mouse, you can use the middle button to
  scroll the buttons to the left or right!
  If not set @{"Option/Scrollbar?" link Menus}.

@ENDNODE

@NODE HowToStart "CxBar/How to start"
@{LINDENT 3}
@{b}Start from a shell:@{ub}

   [Run] [<>NIL:] @{b}CxBar@{ub}

@{b}Start from Workbench:@{ub}

   Just  double-click the icon.

Its the best, if you copy @{b}CxBar@{ub} to the WBStartup-Dir or start
it in User-Startup.

@ENDNODE

@NODE Menus "CxBar/Description of the menus"
@{LINDENT 3}
@{b}CxBar@{ub} has the standard menuitems, they should be self-explained.

The menu entry @{b}Options/Iconify gadget?@{ub} specifies if an extra button
("I" for iconify;-) should be visible which iconifies @{b}CxBar@{ub} if you
click on it (oh, really?) or press "*".

The menu entry @{b}Options/Scrollbar?@{ub} specifies if there should be a
scrollbar under the buttons to scroll the buttons to the left or right.
Only usefull for user of a 2-button-mouse, because on a 3-button-
mouse you can use the middle to scroll the buttons!

@ENDNODE

@NODE Register "CxBar/Register"
@{LINDENT 3}
You only have to fill out the @{"register formular" link Registration.txt} and send it to me.
@{"Via eMail or snail mail" link Me}.

The share for @{b}CxBar@{ub} is $10, 10DM or the appropriate amount of your
countries money.
@{"You can transfer it to my bank-account or send it in cash." link Me}

In the @{b}unregistered@{ub} version there appears a requester from time to
time which should remind you to pay the share!

If you register @{b}CxBar@{ub}, you'll get a keyfile, which turns off the
reminder-requesters.
