Tiszantul is a large area in the eastern Hungary south west of the river Tisza. The count of the area István Tisza was the first minister in 1913-17. He supported the connection with Germany and Austria. In 1914 he recomended that Austria-Hungaria should not attack Serbia. in 1918 he was murdered.
