This file contains "late breaking" news (i.e. information too late to
make it into the documentation).

Additional Features ...

- We've added another option to the DIAMOND.CFG file for those of you who
  happen to have mouse problems. Adding

  MOUSE=NO

  to the DIAMOND.CFG file will cause Diamond Data to not even look for a
  mouse. Of course, the keyboard will continue to work exactly the same
  as always.

- We've added another option to the DIAMOND.CFG file for those wishing to
  compute ERA statistics for games of lengths other than 9 innings.

  Changing

  INNING=9

  to whatever length your games are (e.g., INNING=7 for softball games)
  causes this change to happen. Note that you can change this value as
  often as you wish. None of the purely calculated statistics are stored
  in the database, so this only changes the reported ERA values.

Known problems discovered in Diamond Data v 4.5 ...

Documentation Problems:

- Temporary files are created during report generation. Where these
  files are put can be controlled using the TEMP environment variable.

- We've had to change the way filenames are selected for reading and
  merging databases. Instead of presenting a list of filenames and
  requiring the user to type the filename he/she wants, a menu of
  available databases is displayed. You select from this menu just
  as you would select from any other menu.

Bugs:

- None.
