Here's a starter kit to speed up the Calamus learning curve. This combination works well for my uses of Calamus, and may work well for you until you discover exactly what you would change. Here's how to use it: 1) Rename your CALAMUS.HLP file (inside the SYS folder) to Calamus.hlx. This gives you a copy of the original, "just in case". 2) Install the enclosed CALAMUS.HLP file in the SYS folder. As the instruction manual says (on pg. XIX - 1) this is an ASCII file which you can customize. I used Flash to edit it. 3) Print out the CLMKEYBD.CDK document using Calamus. This is a reminder sheet you can post near your computer until you learn most of the keys. 4) Also using Calamus, print out the FUNCKEYS.CDK document. Using scissors, cut the paper along the marked lines, paste the pieces together on a stiff backing and use to find the function keys. Hope this helps. B. Manewal (Bill)
