May 1, 1989 update:

Further testing of The Computer Guide to the Solar System¿ with
TOS 1.2 and TOS 1.4 reveal the following:

TOS 1.2 reads the mouse slightly differently than TOS 1.0.  This
causes the pointer to revert back to the normal Atari ST pointer
whenever the Main Menu is accessed.  There is no functional
difference, as the mouse pointer continues to perform all the tasks
described in the Owner's Manual.  Aside from in the Main Menu, the 
mouse pointer assumes the shapes described in the manual for all
other parts of the program.


TOS 1.4 reads the mouse even differently than TOS 1.2.  While the 
mouse pointer retains the shape of the "spaceship" in the Main 
Menu, you may notice a slight flicker at times.
