Addendum

Due to the increasing number of profiles, the files on your
profile disk have been archived. This means they have been
compressed using the ARC.TTP utility to conserve disk space.
ARCX.TTP is a public domain program that uncompresses the
archives. It is also provided on your profile disk.
To uncompress the profiles, please follow these simple
instructions:

1. Make a bakcup copy of your profile disk. It is not copy-
protected. Always use this backup when uncompressing files. Make
sure the write protect window is open on your original disk and
keep it in a safe place.

2. Copy the arced profiles you need as well as the ARCX.TTP
program from your profile backup disk onto a blank formated disk
(or to a ram or hard disk if you have one).

3. Double click on ARCX.TTP on your newly made disk, and type the
name of the arced profile you want to uncompress at the prompt
and press return. (you do not need to type the .ARC extension
after the name). If a file not found message is displayed, check
your spelling, or make sure the file is on the disk.

4. The program will display the name of the files as they are
extracted, and return to the desktop when finished.
Repeat operation 3. for each archive.

5. You can now erase the ARCX.TTP and the .ARCed files on that
disk and use it as your X-OR work disk following the manual's
instructions.

If you are unsure how to copy files and format disks, please
refer to your Atari ST or Mega ST owner's manual.
