( Hit ESC to EXIT ) A BRIEF NOTE ABOUT MEMORY, THIS PROGRAM, & CUSTOMER SERVICE !! ============================================================== Many of the BEST programs require close to 600K of FREE memory and often UPPER memory (EMS) to run as well. If you get an "out of memory" or "NOT ENOUGH MEMORY" error when you try to run programs on this CD, you have too many drivers taking up your memory space. You must FREE UP MORE MEMORY on your system. The important factor is NOT how much memory you have on your machine, but how much you have available for use within the first 640K. You may have no difficulty at all, but if you do, Try this. 1- We suggest you run MEMMAKER from the DOS prompt. When asked if you require EMS answer YES. 2- Or use a memory manager such as QEMM (The BEST) or 386 MAX NOTE: This CD creates a 500K temporary SWAP file on your C: drive. The CD MENU SYSTEM also can use EMS upper memory if it is available. This will make the system faster to use. If you have any problems with the menu system, we suggest running MEMMAKER from the C: prompt to optimize your memory. CUSTOMER SERVICE ================ If you have a problem loading up the menu system from the CD, please call customer service at (416) 638-4411. We do NOT offer technical support for individual programs on the CD as there are too many and they are the responsibility of the individual authors who published the program. All programs have been tested and work, however each and every computer system is configured differetly. Here are some common problems and solutions you may try: 1: Not enough memory- - Run MEMMAKER at the DOS prompt or: - Run a Memory manager such as QEMM or: - When you boot up the computer, keep hitting the F5 key before DOS comes up. This will bypass your configuration files and give you more memory. - Use a BOOT DISK (see your DOS manual) 2: Not enough disk space or DISK FULL - Make some room on your hard drive PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU KNOW HOW TO USE DOS !! REMEMBER- We will NOT give technical assistance on individual programs on the CD-ROM or instructions on how to use DOS to move around your system. We have made the MENU as easy as possible to use but should you have any problems with the MENU SYSTEM ONLY, please give us a call !! FOR MORE MEMORY =============== The best solution is running a memory manager program (QEMM) for some of the more advanced games. NOTE: Menu Design by Scott Turner ENJOY YOUR SOFTWARE !!
