JOYKEYS 1.21 Do you have a Joystick or two attached to your computer? Do you have any programs that you wish used those Joysticks, but they don't? Then JOYKEYS is for you. * A program that "fakes" other programs into thinking keystrokes came from the keyboard, when they really didn't - they were initiated by a Joystick (sort of like a mouse). * A Terminate-and-Stay-Resident (TSR) program. It takes up approximately 2000 bytes (2K) of RAM (Random Access Memory). * A program that works with one or two Joysticks. It automatically senses how many are installed. * A program that can have any of its settings changed, be ENABLEd (turned on), DISABLEd (turned off), or UNINSTALLed (completely removed from memory) at any time from the DOS prompt. * A program that works consistently on all IBM compatibles, regardless of CPU type or speed, including "turbo" models that can change CPU speeds on the fly. * A program written entirely in Assembly Language. I was interested in "fooling around" with assembly language as a way to learn it, and decided to try and make a useful program. JOYKEYS was what I ended up writing.
