GenEmMenu '95 v1.2 Copyright © 1996 Spanky Software Written by Brian Peek ================================ GenEmMenu '95 is a simple menuing interface for Windows 95 that is written specifically for the GenEm Sega Genesis Emulator. When the program first starts, it will ask you to locate GENEM.EXE on your hard drive. It will then ask you to locate a cartridge in the directory where you keep your ROMs. Just pick one file. It doesn't matter which one, as this process is only used to determine which directory you keep them in. When the GenEmMenu '95 window pops up, click a cartridge in the left listbox, enter a title for the cartridge in the box below the list, and select any options you would like for that specific cartridge. When you've made your choices, click the Save button and that configuration will be kept for that cartridge. If there are any problems with it, feel free to contact me! Changes since v1.1 ================== - Will now read cartridge title from actual ROM image and format it as a title (i.e. SONIC THE HEDGEHOG becomes Sonic The Hedgehog) NOTE: This only works for .bin images! - You can now double-click on the cartridge file name to launch the emulator - Cartridge specific configurations can be deleted - Listbox will now only display files with valid GenEm extensions Changes since v1.0 ================== - Version 0.15 now supported. Genem wouldn't work properly under v1.0 if the GenEmMenu was located in a different directory than GenEm - The program won't lock up if you click cancel when finding GenEm or cartridges. Now, you MUST find both items or it will not allow you to proceed. - A spiffy new icon! Brian Peek peekb@union.edu http://tarids.union.edu/~peekb
