******* M2000 Builder ******* Front end for M2000 MS-DOS Version 1.1 Copyright (C) 1997 Marcel de Kogel Hardware and Software Requirements ================================== - Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0 or higher - M2000 MS-DOS 0.6 or higher - 8MB or more RAM recommended Files included ============== - M2000Builder.exe The main program - M2000Builder.txt This file The latest version of this program can always be found on the M2000 distribution site at http://www.komkon.org/~dekogel/m2000.html Introduction ============ This program is my first Borland C++ Builder project. I do not intend to make it the best front-end ever or even anything near that, I'm just happy I seem to be able to work well with the compiler and it's IDE. In other words: Don't expect too much and don't complain if you think the program sucks. Usage ===== All options should be self-explanatory if you've read the M2000 MS-DOS manual, and I'm quite sure you did. For quick starters, just set the M2000 path and optionally a cassette or cartridge ROM image and press the 'Launch M2000' button. Known problems ============== - Only the first line of the user options is saved when the program exits. If you enter several options in the user tab, you might want to enter them all on the same line. - The emulator will not create long filenames, e.g. if you want to rerout printer output to a file using long filenames, create the file before launching the emulator. Uninstalling ============ If you want to uninstall the program, simply delete all files and the directory you placed it in. No, it does mess with the registry settings. Legal issues ============ This software can be used free of charge and may be distributed freely, as long as the archive isn't modified in any way, no profit is made from distributing it, and no games are supplied with it. Also, this software comes without any warranty, neither express nor implied: Use at your own risk. History ======= 1.1 27-06-97 Fixed a bug that caused temporary files to not always be deleted, fixed some problems with non-96DPI display devices, options entered in the user tab are now (partially) saved when the program exits, printertype support fixed, added an icon, updated main window style. 1.0 24-06-97 Initial release If you've got any comments, bug reports, etc., please send them to m.dekogel@student.utwente.nl
