TrepSNES 0.1 Beta 1 For DOS 32bit* ************************************ Ok, I hope that releasing this prerelease version to PROVE to people that I am serious about writing this. This version has 31 opcodes implemented, and no graphics modes. The reason the only version that emulates anything is the DOS version is the lack of graphics support. A couple ports are implemented *slightly* and store information thrown to them. This is written in DJGPP, because 16-bit DOS compilers suck when trying to emulate a machine with an address space of 24bits on a machine that has an address space of 20bits. (Especially when a game can be 4MB in size easily) I have released the source code for the DOS version of the emulator because I feel that the emulation engine, although very primitive, has progressed far enough that I can use some help. All portions of the source are free for use by anyone, except for any type of commercial use. If you'd realize ANY monitary gain from the use or study of this code, you can't use it. This includes if you are writing an emulator you wish to charge money for. I don't want code I wrote to make money for other people. After all, I'm not getting any cash out of this... Have Fun, and remember that this is "USE AT YOUR OWN RISK" software. If you don't agree with this, delete all files related to TrepSNES now. If you have a question/comment about TrepSNES, you can contact me by e-mail at "Trepalium@null.net" Please do not request ROMs for this emulator, as I will not react well to them. More than likely you'll be added to the public lamers list. Do heed my warning, I am serious. Also, don't flame me about the lack of support of anything, or ask when your favorite game will work -- I don't know. Asking these questions will put you on my kill file list, and if you ever had anything interesting to tell me, I'd never read it... That should cover it for now...
