Arcade Menu Version 1.75 ------------------------ Written by Lars Lindgaard (lindgaar@online.no) Arcade menu is a user-configurable menusystem for the windows 95-compatible arcade emulators. You can edit, from within the program (safest), the included "arcmenu.dat" and "arcmenu.emu" or you can delete these files and the program will create new ones once you start it or you can keep your previous files and convert them with convert.exe. The Add/Edit Form : ------------------- Emulation Name : Here you can write in the name of the emulation you are adding. Emulation Parameters : This is for the parameters specifically for one emulation e.g. with MAME and frogger this parameter should be set to frogger. You can use this for all the parameters if you prefer that, but I think it's more conventient to use the checkboxes for that. Emulation Picture : Select the picture you would like the program to show when you select the emulation. Emulation Textfile : Select the textfile you would like the program to show when you select the emulation. E.g. the emulator documentation or anecdotes connected to this particular game. This one uses notepad.exe to show the textfiles so it should be present within the path. Emulator : This drop-downbox contains the various emulators (single and multi). A new emulator will be added to the list when you press the OK-button and it wasn't in the list previously. Use the browsebutton to locate the emulator. The checkboxes are connected to the emulator rather than the emulation. E.g. if you select MAME and change the first checkbox to -soundcard 2 the option -soundcard 2 will be available to all emulations that uses MAME. Change All Button : By pressing this you will set the status of the checkboxes to all entries that uses a specific emulator. To Do : ------- * ? Bla. bla. : ----------- The PIF-files in the pif-directory arc example pif-files for the emulators. Just copy it to the same directory as the emulator. These were created to avoid the hassle with closing the windows after execution of the emulators. If you have any questions, comments or suggestions please feel free to contact me at : lindgaar@online.no.
