Qbert Emulation Project Beta 0.0000001
--------------------------------------

This is the first release of the Q*bert emulator. This emulator is far from complete!
Currently you can only watch the demo mode, a playable version should be
ready by March 1997

Development
-----------

The emulator is written in a mixture of 16bit C and Assembler. Masm and Turbo C++
version 1 where used in the coding of this emulator. The code was developed on a
Pentium p90 with 16 meg ram and a S3 virge video card (2meg).

The emulator has not been tested on anything other than a P90, so it may run too slow
or too fast on your machine!!!

A quick note about speed, the emulator does not need any memory managers
or device drivers, I have found that a large speed increase (and less crashes)
can be achived by not loading either config.sys or autoexec.bat!!!!!!!!!

Limitations
-----------

Also as this is only a demo, it can and properly will crash at some point.
There is no sound, no controls and the video mode uses (mode 13) does not
display the full screen. These will be fixed in later versions!!!!!
