This program gives access to a C64 floppy connected with a simple interface 
to a printer port of a PC. It copies C64 disks to virtual disks (PC files) to 
be used with the emulation C64S. It copies also single files from C64 disks 
to existing virtual disks or PC files to C64 disks. Disk copies to the PC are 
possible from the 1541, single files can also be copied from the 1581. 
Formatted virtual disks can be originated as well as a basis for copying 
single files.

Do NOT start the program within WINDOWS as this will lead to a endless loop 
if you call the C64 floppy or if the interface is not OK. In that case only 
the RESET button will help with presumably severe consequences for your data.

Please copy the files DISK64E.EXE, DISK64E.HLP and DISK64E.CFG to the same 
directory. Start then with DISK64E. Presumably you are then asked to go to 
the menue PATH & PORTS and to give an existing path exept if you have the 
default C:\TEMP\C64S\. The C64 floppy is connected to the printer port of the 
PC by a very simple interface described under HELP/INTERFACE or by the x1541 
cable. This needs a selection under PATH & PORTS. All items of the menue not 
operating with the C64 floppy may be executed without such a floppy being 
connected.
