                                Label 5.03

HISTORY
Label 5.03 is an upgrade to previous versions of Label xx.x that corrects
the problems associated with some earlier versions and fine tunes the pro-
gram. Label 5.03 is a standalone program written and compiled in Microsoft
Quick Basic 4.5 for the sole purpose of making simple text labels. One
day I wanted to print out a label for a 3 ring binder and couldn't find a
program that was simple to use just for that purpose. All programs I found
on the market were built for use with databases, and were designed mainly
making mailing labels. After a couple weeks of searching both local and
distant BBSs I became so frustrated that I sat down and wrote the original
version of this program (version 1). Other versions followed close behind
as I saw room for improvement in one area or another.

USAGE
The program is, as I said before, very basic in nature. The user does not
need any help other than what is offered on the screen. The program prints

high, double wide characters or single address labels. It also allows you
to shell to DOS.
