			 INTRODUCTION and SMALL HISTORY
   ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
   We originally designed EZDESK about 2 years ago to be used by our customers
   and in house, as a mail manager.  It is used in a  wide variety  of offices
   such	 as:  Real Estate,  Accounting,	 Doctors,  Cosmetic,  Retail,	Media,
   Astrology,  Auto, Engineering,  Consulting and many others.
   Of course the program was  customized each time to the particular  require-
   ments of the customer, including even 3 versions in foreign languages.

   The	current version,  is  the first release	 for  general market,  all the
   previous ones being	Custom Made Applications.  It includes	the basic most
   common features used by our clients; due to the fact that each business has
   its own specification we designed  EZDESK flexible enough to be  customized
   fast and with little overhead,  to satisfy any requirements at minimum cost
   for the client.

   We are presently working at some new features including a  network version.

   EZDESK  is a Shareware,  NOT	 a Public Domain program;  please feel free to
   distribute it, by sharing unmodified copies in the U.S. and Canada.

   The current program is a reduced version of the original release.

			     HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS:
   ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
   - IBM PC XT, AT, PS/2, COMPAQ, or 100% compatible with Hard Disk
   - 512k memory
   - Printer
   - Modem (Hayes compatible) recommended.

				 GETTING STARTED
   ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
   Probably  by now you have already decompressed the 4 files contained in the
   EZ.ARC.  Before starting the program please check your CONFIG.SYS file; you
   should have in it a line that specifies: FILES=30 (min.)
   If you do not have it please create it (consult your DOS reference manual);
   reboot the computer afterwards to activate the CONFIG.SYS.
   OK, now you are ready to start;  go in the directory where  EZDESK  resides
   and at  DOS prompt (Ex. C:\EZ>) type EZ and press the Enter key.
   The	very first time when you run it,  EZDESK will create all the necessary
   data (*.DAT) and key (*.K??) files.
   We hope you'll enjoy it and be more productive from the start;  please feel
