To start off you should make a copy of all the files, for safe-keeping. Hard disk users should create a TELIX directory and copy all the files into it. Floppy disk (360k) users should put the contenets of the first archive onto one disk, and optionally put the script compiler (CS.EXE) from the second archive onto that disk as well. That might leave things a bit cramped though. If there is a space problem, keep in mind that script source files (*.SLT) and the script compiler do not have to stay on your main Telix disk. With these files on another disk, there should be plenty of space. The best way to continue is by printing out the documentation which can be done by using the DOS copy command (at the DOS prompt)to copy the file(s) to the printer, as follows: copy TELIX.DOC prn copy SALT.DOC prn Once the manual has finished printing, see the section called 'Getting Started'. Please see LICENSE.DOC for complete ordering/upgrade information. IMPORTANT: Note that as mentioned in LICENSE.DOC, printed manuals for this version of Telix will only be available after April 30, '91, and any orders requesting a printed manual will be held until that time. The Telix documentation is formatted to use 66 lines/page, as supported by most printers. Many laser printers print only 60 lines/page by default.
